Speak.
It types.
Wisp turns your voice into text in any app on your Mac — and transcribes and summarises your meetings. Everything runs on your machine. Nothing is uploaded.
Demo: holding the shortcut shows a recording indicator, and the spoken sentence is typed into an email.
Three steps. No windows to switch to.

A small pill shows Wisp is listening. Code terms, names and punctuation come through as you say them.

Let go — it types
Your words appear where you were typing. No copy-paste, no app to switch to.
Every call, written down. Then summed up.
Wisp listens to your microphone and your Mac's audio at the same time, so Zoom, Meet and Teams calls are transcribed live — labelled “You” and “Participant”. One click turns the transcript into a summary and action items, using a small language model that also runs on your Mac.
- Live transcript with speaker labels
- Summary and action items in seconds
- Searchable history, stored only on your Mac
The beta build is ready, but payments still fail on older Android phones.
Okay — let's fix that by Friday and move the launch to the fifteenth.
- Fix the Android payment bug by Friday
- Move the public launch to the 15th
Your voice never leaves your Mac.
No account, no cloud, no API keys. Speech recognition (Whisper) and summaries run on your Mac's Neural Engine and GPU.
Stays on your Mac
- Your recordings and dictations
- Every transcript and summary
- Meeting history and search
Optional, and anonymous
Anonymous usage counts — like “a dictation finished” — help improve Wisp. They never include audio, text or anything you type. Turn them off in Settings → Share anonymous usage.
